About Us

The Central Coast Family Law Pathways Network is funded by the Australian Government Attorney General’s Department and Interrelate is the auspice organisation for the network.

The Central Coast Family Law Pathways Network fosters strong links with locally based providers, who operate as part of or alongside the family law system, to enhance collaboration and improve overall assistance to separated and separating families. This is done by:

  1. Promoting awareness of services and improving referral mechanisms
  2. Conducting cross-sectoral training

Scope

The Network covers the Central Coast Council Local Government Area. It includes professionals from:

  • family law legal services
  • mediators
  • family relationship services
  • agencies working in areas associated with the family law system, in particular mental
    health, drug and alcohol services;
  • agencies working in areas associated with family violence and child protection;
  • Indigenous and CALD services
  • Family Law Courts;

Free Membership

Membership is free to professionals from legal services, mediators, counsellors and other community services working with separated families. Subscribe as a member to receive :

  • The opportunity to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points at network events
  • Cross-sectoral networking
  • A better understanding of other local programs and services for separated families
  • A quarterly e-newsletter
  • An invitation to our annual dinner event

A local Steering Committee develops a strategic work plan for the network and works with the Project Officer and auspice organisation (Interrelate) to carry out the work plan. Further information about the network can be found here.
